How much will your new roof cost?
Not a city average. We measure the roof at your address from satellite imagery, then show you a real price range for three material tiers. If you want an exact number, a local contractor can turn it into a line-by-line proposal.

Prices are installed, tear-off included, before tax. Pick the tier you're leaning toward and a contractor will quote it exactly, line by line, from their own price book.
Get an exact proposal for this roof
A local contractor will confirm the measurements, render your house with the shingle you choose, and send a proposal where every line cites where the number came from. No obligation.
- Your roof measurements travel with the request, so nobody re-measures.
- Add three phone photos and you can get the proposal without a site visit.
- You'll see the finished roof on your own house before you decide.
Questions homeowners ask
How accurate is the measurement?
Roof area, pitch and facet count come from high-resolution aerial imagery processed by Google's Solar API, the same data used to size solar installations. On most detached homes it lands within a few percent of a tape measurement. The contractor confirms eave lengths and decking condition on site.
Why a range and not a price?
Because a real price depends on tear-off layers, decking repairs, flashing, skylights and the exact product. The range tells you what the job is, in your area, for your roof size. The proposal tells you the number.
Who sees my details?
Only the contractor you're requesting a proposal from. If you came here from a contractor's website, that's them. Otherwise it's one vetted StreetIcons contractor in your area. We don't sell leads to lists.
Does this cost anything?
No. The estimate is free and the proposal is free. You pay the contractor only if you sign.
